The heads are back above the surface at the ICC!

After the recent flood damage caused to our much loved Cricket Club, it is fantastic news that we have been able to receive such excellent support from both the YCB and ECB in trying to restore the ground to all it's glory.

Considerable damage has been caused to the clubhouse, the netting facilities, the equipment storage facilities as well as much of the playing surface. This is damage that we as a club need to move through, and thanks to the support from YCB and ECB this process has been made that bit easier. 

The clubhouse is going to need entirely re-carpeting, whilst the netting areas are going to need moisture removing from underneath the mats. 

We aim to restore the ground as soon as possible so that the season can get underway from day one but we are also taking precautions to ensure that if anything of this scale were to happen again in the future, then there will be counter-measures to minimise the risk of further damage to the club.
